It is my prayer that the head of the church, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ will continue to sustain His bride, Mount Zion Lutheran Church, as she continues to proclaim the Gospel and administer the Sacraments through her called and ordained servants of the word.
I pray that our ministry will sustain the test of time as we
continue to reach out to the unsaved and un-churched, but like many others, we struggle against those who entice with the mixture of secular and sacred worship.
But the good news is that, the Gospel according to Mark 16:15 says “Go into the entire world and preach the gospel to all creation”, and that is what we do here at Mount Zion, as we feed the hungry, play Bingo with the seniors at the Guste High Rise, and minister to our youth and young adults, through Sunday School, Church, fellowship and vacation bible school.
Our strength comes from the Lord as he provides all of our needs. It is he who has watched over Mount Zion while she has stood firm in God’s faith through generations of families. Still a beacon of light with a message of hope that God is real, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life”. John 3:16
REJOICE and celebrate for God is good. May the peace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be with you all.
